Additional Services

Anemia Clinic

We administer Recombinant Erythropoetin to treat anemia. We also administer Intravenous Iron for iron deficiency (Oral iron supplements are usually not effective in correcting iron deficiency if ferritin >50, especially in CKD patients.). This service is available to our clients and the broader medical community.

The following symptoms could be indicative of anemia:
• Easy Fatiguability • Shortness Of Breath • Weakness • Dizziness

We encourage early screening and prompt referral of clients to us for appropriate management and monitoring. Aside from improving symptoms, aggressive treatment and correction of anemia and iron deficiency has other benefits including the slowing of CKD progression, stabilization of CHF, improved quality of life, etc. Clients referred to us for anemia management would only be seen for that purpose unless otherwise specified by the referring Physician.
